CATLETTSBURG, Ky. (AP) -- Two men have pleaded not guilty to murder and arson charges in the deaths of a Catlettsburg couple in a fire that destroyed their home.

Patrick Campbell, 21, of Ashland, and Jonathon Nolan, 24, of Catlettsburg, entered their pleas Wednesday and were ordered held in the Boyd County Detention Center on $1 million cash bonds.

Campbell and Nolan are charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Phillip ``Bo'' Booth, 34, and Shonda Booth, 26. Each is also charged with one count of first-degree arson and tampering with physical evidence.

The Booths were found dead in their home Monday night after a fire destroyed the dwelling. Their bodies, which were badly burned by the fire, were sent to the state medical examiner's office for autopsies.

State police said Thursday that preliminary autopsy results showed that Phillip Booth died of multiple stab wounds and gunshot wounds and Shonda Booth died of multiple stab wounds.

The couple's two children, ages 4 and 8, were home at the time of the fire but escaped with only minor injuries. They are now living with family members.
