Jan. 09--A two-alarm fire Monday morning at a McDonald's restaurant along the Las Vegas Strip caused $200,0000 in damage, officials reported.
Clark County officials reported that firefighters were called at 9:42 a.m. to the McDonald's at 3999 Las Vegas Blvd. South, near Four Seasons Drive. Firefighters discovered smoke coming from the roof when they arrived, and a second alarm was sounded.
Officials said the fire was contained mostly to the roof area and did not spread into the interior of the building, which was undergoing renovation. Workers were outside the restaurant when firefighters arrived, authorities reported, and no injuries were reported.
