Application Period for 2005 Grant Program Nears

Pre-registration is available until March 6.

The U.S. Fire Administration is preparing to open the application period for the 2005 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

To accommodate an expected influx of new applicants to this year's program, a pre-registration period will be made available until Sunday, March 6, 2005. This is NOT the beginning of the application period and pre-registrants will NOT have early access to the application for any reason.

The application period for the 2005 AFG program is scheduled to take place from 8:00 a.m. (eastern standard time) March 7, 2005, to 5:00 p.m. (eastern daylight time) April 8, 2005.

Who Should Pre-Register?

Organizations who have never applied. Organizations who previously applied but do not have a username or password. (Call Help Desk at 866-274-0960.) Organizations that have changed the name of their organization. Who Doesn't Need to Pre-Register? Organizations who previously applied and do have a current username or password.
