Mississippi Firefighter Died Responding

While responding to a fire on April 1, a volunteer firefighter in Stonewall, Miss. suffered an apparent heart attack.

George A. Wimberly Jr., 63, was found dead in his personal vehicle about a half mile from the incident, according to the USFA.

Officials at the USFA were notified Thursday about Wimberly's death. He was a member of Stonewall Vol. Fire Dept.
