A volunteer firefighter in east Texas died last week after suffering a medical emergency at a “very low level” residential fire.
According to a report from KLTV News, Tri-Lakes Volunteer Fire Department member Ross Estabrooks died while operating at the scene of a fire in a small house on Friday night. The Tri-Lakes VFD is headquartered in Pittsburg in Camp County.
Initial reports state that Estabrooks experienced a heart attack and was transported to a local hospital where he died.
