New Jersey Firefighters Knock Down Weekend Fire at School
Washington Township Fire Department units were dispatched to the Archway School in the late afternoon on February 6, 2005, for an alarm activation.
While responding, police units reported a fully involved building and the District was subsequently redispatched.
Engine 1032 arrived on location under the command of A/C Matt Zemski with heavy fire and smoke from the A-D corner. Crews went in service with one 2-1/2 and one 1-3/4. The bulk of the fire was knocked down within 15 minutes.
