The fire service uses a plethora of different tools. One that is often overlooked, but worth its weight in gold, is the rope. In Part 1, readers will learn about the variety of materials being used for fire service ropes.
Readers will learn the meaning of latent heat vaporization and the mathematical equation needed to figure it out.
The drill is designed to be a single page of information to conjure up discussions among your crew members. Sit down and talk about the exercises, and how they may apply to your company. But, just don't read them. Get moving. Head to an appropriate area and train.
