The driver of a Corvette was rescued by Los Angeles County firefighters after his car became wedged underneath the trailer in Castaic on Thursday.
The 77-year-old driver was conscious during the 30 minute operation, according to KCAL.
California Highway Patrol officers handled the investigation.
