Paul Grimwood is in his 47th year of fire service, having retired from the London Fire Brigade. He is currently serving as the principal fire engineer with Kent Fire and Rescue service in the United Kingdom. Since 1992, Grimwood has written four books on international firefighting strategy and tactics and has researched firefighting in the United States extensively since 1975.
