Engine 1 is a 2000 KME Pumper, built on an International 4900 4 door chassis. It seats 5 firefighters, with 4 seats containing Self Contained Breathing Apparatuses (SCBA). The pumper is powered by a 300 HP diesel engine, with a 1000 gallon water tank, two 20 gallon Class A Foam tanks, and a Hale 1250 GPM pump. The truck carries 1200 feet of 5 inch supply line, 500 feet of 1 3/4 inch attack line, 300 feet of 3 inch blitz line, and two 10 foot hard suction lines. Engine 1 is our primary vehicle dispatched for Structure Fires, Vehicle Fires, or Utility Emergencies.
