A Darley AutoCAFS pumper has a new home at the Big Run Fire Company, outside of Punxsutawney Pa. The chassis is a Spartan Metro Star with a Cummins ISC 330 Horsepower engine coupled to an Allison 3000 EVS transmission.

It features a Darley single stage LDMBC 1.500 gpm fire pump connected to a 1,000-gallon water tank and a 50-gallon foam tank. The side pump panel controls a Darley AutoCAFS compressed air foam system.

It uses a FoamPro 2001 foam system to provide Class A foam to five CAFS capable discharges including a front bumper trashline, both crosslays, the deck gun and a rear 2-1/2-inch hosebed discharge.

The pumper has slide in ladder storage, a Federal “Q” siren, lots of LED scene lighting, and a pair of FRC 12-volt Optimum lights provided on the back of the cab.
