MetalCraft Marine Incorporated has delivered a Firestorm 40, christened Prometheus, to the Melbourne Fire Brigade, Australia. It is a 12 meter long diesel-powered, jet propelled boat capable of speeds in excess of 32 knots. It has twin Cummins engines, capable of producing 610 hp each. To fight fire, it has twin Darley pumps capable of pumping 3,975 gpm at 150 psi. it also has a full-size patient birth area and a water-level recovery deck
