The Riverton, Iowa, Fire Department has accepted delivery of a new Toyne pumper built on a Freightliner M2 cab and chassis.

The Riverton, Iowa, Fire Department has accepted delivery of a new Toyne pumper built on a Freightliner M2 cab and chassis. It's powered by a Cummins ISL 350 hp engine and an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale QFlo 125-23L pump with a UPF 1,250-gallon tank and a FoamPro 1600 foam system. Other equipment include Fire Research Corp. telescoping lights, a 1,500-gallon portable tank on a hydraulic rack, Innovative Controls tank level gauges, and an Akron Apollo monitor.
