The city of Orange, N.J., has placed into service a 2015 Ferrara Cinder model custom pumper, assigned to Engine Co. 2.

The city of Orange, N.J., has placed into service a 2015 Ferrara Cinder model custom pumper, assigned to Engine Co. 2.  It is powered by a Cummins 450-hp engine an an Allison 3000EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Hale 1,750-gpm pump and a 500-gallon tank with a 30-gallon foam cell. Other features include Whelen LED warning lights, a front bumper discharge with foam and three crosslays. It also has two rear dischage gates on the left and right sides.
