Hidalgo County New Mexico in Lordsburg, NM has taken delivery of a Midwest Fire side control tanker-pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis. It has a 3,000 gallon APR Polypropylene tank, a Darley LSP 1,000-gpm PTO pump, a 2.5-inch direct tank fill and tank level gauge. Other features include Newton 10-inch square dump valves, one on each side and one on the rear, with telescoping chutes, All-Poly construction with sweep-out style compartments and R.O.M. anodized aluminum roll-up doors, stainless steel "tip-down" portable tank carrier and a 2,000-gallon portable tank. It's also equipped with NFPA compliant LED lighted folding steps and grab rails, six Whelen scene lights, and 3/4-inch polypropylene dividers and hose covers.
