The Nipissing Township Fire Department in Ontario Canada has taken delivery of an all-new HME MiniEvo mini-pumper, which is integrated onto a 2015 Ford F-550 Super-Duty Crew Cab XL. The unit combines exclusive HME Ahrens-Fox Hydra Technology with a 1,500-gpm Hale midship pump. Other features include Powerstroke 6.7L V-8 OHV direct diesel injection 32 valve intercooled turbo diesel engine with torque capability of 660 pounds at 1,600 rpm, and 6-speed electronic Select-Shift automatic transmission. It also has stainless steel piping, panels and framework, Fire Research TankVision, dual 1.5-inch crosslays, TurboFoam class A foam system with a 17 gallon foam tank, a 400 gallon capacity T-tank for water, Gortite roll-up doors, Whelen LED warning light package, Fire Research Spectra Ultrabright LED body quartz lighting, NFPA compliant ladder group, 139 cubic feet of storage compartment space with shelving package.
