The Frontenac, MO, Fire Department has recently received a 2017 Rosenbauer Commander rescue-pumper.

The Frontenac, MO, Fire Department has recently received a 2017 Rosenbauer Commander rescue-pumper. It is powered by a Cummins ISX 500 hp engine with an Allison 4000 EVS transmission. To fight fire, it has a Waterous S100 1,500 gpm pump, a 750-gallon tank with a 30-gallon foam cell, and a Akron 240P foam system. Other equipment includes a 15,000-watt AMPS generator, a Command Light Knight 2 4,500-watt light tower as well as an electric cord reel. It also has a Rosenbauer LoPro ladder rack, a booster reel located in the back step compartment and an Akron Deckmaster 3440 remote control deck gun. The pumper has a unique paint scheme that's new for the department.
