THE LAURELTON VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY in Brick Township, NJ, has taken delivery of a Pierce Velocity quint equipped with a Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine, Allison 4000EVS transmission, 2,000-gpm Waterous CSU pump, 460-gallon UPF Poly Tank IIE water tank, 40-gallon foam tank, Husky foam system, Pierce TPG pressure governor, Task Force Tips Master Stream 2000 deck pipe, Kussmaul Auto Eject and 10-kilowatt Harrison generator.
INDEPENDENT HOSE COMPANY 1 in Frederick, MD, has placed in service a Seagrave Marauder II pumper outfitted with a 500-hp Cummins ISM engine, Allison 4000EVS transmission, 1,500-gpm Waterous pump, 750-gallon tank and 15-kilowatt Onan generator.
THE WESTPORT, CT, FIRE DEPARTMENT has taken delivery of a KME Predator Severe Service pumper equipped with a 500-hp Cummins ISM engine, Allison 4000EVS transmission, 1,500-gpm Hale Qmax pump, 600-gallon poly water tank, 50-gallon foam cell, FoamPro 2001 foam system, six-kilowatt Smart Power generator and Whelen warning lights.
MASSACHUSETTS FIRE DISTRICT 7 in Auburn, MA, has taken delivery of a 17-foot BullEx Fire Safety Trailer. The mobile fire prevention trailer features interactive kitchen and bedroom emergency scenarios with an interactive CookTop, heated/smoking bedroom door prop, smoking outlet and E.D.I.T.H. window.
THE OSAGE BEACH, MO, FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT has taken delivery of a Rosenbauer pumper built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis powered by a 525-hp Caterpillar C13. THE CLINTON, NY, FIRE DEPARTMENT has taken delivery of a Ferrara 100-foot tower ladder built on a Ferrara Inferno chassis powered by a Cummins ISM 500 engine. The unit features a 2,000-gpm Hale Qmax pump, 500-gallon tank, Whelen LED lighting and custom-built compartments with PAC-TRAC tool boards.
THE CITY OF NEWPORT, VT, FIRE DEPARTMENT has taken delivery of a Smeal custom pumper built on a Spartan Metro Star chassis powered by a 350-hp Cummins ISC engine with an Allison 3000EVS transmission. The unit is equipped with a 1,500-gpm Waterous pump, 1,000-gallon poly tank and eight-kilowatt Onan generator.
