FORT WORTH, TX, NOV. 3, 2011 – An early-morning fire fanned by high winds and low water pressure hampered firefighters as they battled a fire in a warehouse.

EDISON, NJ, SEPT. 20, 2011 – Firefighters from Edison and neighboring departments battled a fire that escalated to four alarms in a large commercial/residential building. As flames took hold of the cockloft, members were ordered off the roof and operations went defensive. Additional alarms were sounded, bringing additional Edison and mutual aid units to the scene. Metuchen and South Plainfield tower ladders joined an Edison tower and aerial ladder with elevated master streams.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA, OCT. 27, 2011 – A three-alarm fire destroyed half of an apartment building under construction in Carson. Flames shot 100 feet into the air as embers blew into an adjacent mobile home park, igniting trees and mobile homes and leaving 10 to15 mobile homes destroyed or damaged. More than 200 residents were displaced.

WEST NEW YORK, NJ, NOV. 28, 2011 – Jersey City units, with tan turnouts, report to the North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue command post at a multiple-alarm fire. The North Hudson chief gives instructions to an incoming Jersey City battalion chief (tan coat).
