With a large crowd expected this Halloween at bars and nightclubs, officials with the El Paso Fire Marshals Office will be conducting random safety inspections, checking for fire code violations.

These inspections will be conducted to ensure that people are safe and secure in crowded establishments.

The violations inspectors will be looking for are overcrowding, locked or blocked exits, fire lane violations and other violations inspectors deem to be a danger to the public.

"We all know what we're supposed to do and what regulations we need to have, so it's pretty much normal," Hemingway's bar manager Robert Moody said.
