Boot-Drying Accessory
RAM AIR GEAR DRYER has introduced a boot-drying accessory for its 4-IHT model. The boot dryer fits into one of the four drying ports and can dry eight boots per accessory, or up to 32 boots at one time. Inverted drying lets the 4-IHT dry hazmat, immersion and dive suits as well as standard bunker gear and accessories. Each of the four drying positions features adjustable height to properly dry specific sizes of gear. The 4-IHT dries personal protective equipment without turning gear inside out and damaging it.

Ultra-Rugged Smartphone
HANDHELD GROUP has introduced the Nautiz X1 ultra-rugged smartphone, featuring an IP67 ingress protection rating that means it is completely protected against dust and sand and can withstand immersion in water. It also meets stringent MIL-STD-810G military standards for enduring humidity, vibration, drops and extreme temperatures. The smartphone weighs 6.3 ounces and measures 4.9 by 2.6 by 0.6 inches. It has a four-inch WVGA sunlight-readable and provides reliable voice and high-speed data transmission over GSM or CDMA networks. The smartphone will be available in January 2013.
