Wednesday Fire Safety Programming Tip (April 5, 2011)

April 6, 2011

Welcome to the Wednesday fire safety programming tip where we share low cost ideas to help your department's fire prevention program as well as other fire safety programming ideas.

The fire safety dogs and I have been busy preparing for the launch of our new web-based program, Sparkles' Safety Spot (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13j5MTmGjUg) the past few weeks. The live streaming program is held the first and third Tuesday of each month and we would appreciate it if you would help spread the word. Today was our very first episode and we had a total blast!

In this episode, join us as we vlog and share more information an the importance of a fire safety newsletter and share potential content ideas for you and your newsletter.

Forgot to mention in the video that your department consider doing a newsletter, that it is important to have release forms signed by the parent or guardian for those children under the age of 18. This is a critical piece of the newsletter!

Enjoy the vlog (video blog) and until next time, stay safe!
