A Boyton Beach firefighter created a mini-training course for his 3-year-old son, complete with a CPR dummy and an actual fire.

A Florida toddler who wanted to go with his firefighter dad on an emergency call was given a chance to see what it's like to battle blazes and help people. At least on a small scale.

Boyton Beach firefighter Christopher Shell created a mini-training area for his 3-year-old son, Asher, after the boy was upset he couldn't join his father on a run.

”I got toned out to a call, and (Asher) got so upset that he couldn’t come with me on the call to help save people. All he kept crying was, ‘I want to go save people',” Shell told WPTV-TV.

So Shell and his wife, Jenna, a Boca Raton dispatcher, set up a toddler test course for Asher that included a CPR drill and an actual fire to douse. Video of Asher running through training—arriving at the "scene" in a toy fire apparatus—went viral after Jenna posted the footage online.
