Jonathan Hall

Jonathan Hall has been in the fire service since 2000. He is currently a firefighter for the City of Saint Paul, Minn., assigned to Engine Company #8 in downtown. In addition, he serves as a lead instructor for the department’s training division teaching recruit academies and company level training to members of the department including: rapid intervention, forcible entry, vent-enter-search, and high-rise operations. He is one of the developers and lead instructors for the department’s truck company and engine company apprenticeship programs. 

Jonathan is a frequent contributor to Firehouse.com writing articles and conducting webcasts.  He is also a certified fire instructor teaching for various technical colleges throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. 

Prior to joining Saint Paul, Jonathan served as a firefighter and a training and safety officer for the Township Fire Department in Eau Claire, Wis.
