GM3 Thomas Butler USNR was an active member of MIUWU 204, of Fort Dix, New Jersey. Petty Officer Butler was also a member of The New York City Fire Department's prestigious Squad 1 of Brooklyn.
On 11 September 2001 he, and eleven members of Squad 1, heroically answered their final call for their city and our country.
