DUMFRIES, VA - Jeff Simpson a Volunteer Emergency Medical Technician of the Dumfries - Triangle Rescue Squad, and one of our own, was apparently one of the victims of The World Trade Center disaster in New York last Tuesday.
Jeff was in lower Manhattan on routine business on behalf of his employer, the Oracle Corporation, when the two jet airliners struck The World Trade Center.
Bystanders reported that he rushed to the scene to offer assistance when the collapse occurred.
Jeff’s fellow crewmembers and the entire department share the loss with his wife Diane and their 6-year old triplets: Leann, Maxwell and Elaine.
