Professional Aquatics Safety & Water Rescue Consultant for Lifesaving Resources Inc., a private company dedicated to drowning and aquatic injury prevention and emergency management.  The company develops educational curriculums in Aquatics Safety, Lifeguarding, Water Rescue, Swiftwater Rescue, and Ice Rescue and conducts this training throughout North America for the Public Safety and Rescue, as well as the Lifeguard and Aquatic Recreation Sectors.

Published over 40 articles and several course instructional guidebooks, and has appeared on CNN; MSNBC News; ABC's Good Morning America; CBS' Early Show; NBC's Today Show; Fire Emergency Training Network; The Discovery Channel; The Weather Channel; and, the G. Gordon Liddy Show. 

Regularly consults as a Forensics Expert Witness in drowning and aquatic injury litigation with over 225 cases to date.

Serves on the Board of Directors for the National Drowning Prevention Alliance (www.ndpa.org), and on an advisory committee for the American Red Cross National Lifeguarding Program.

Graduate from the University of Bridgeport with a B.S. degree in Health and Physical Education, with a minor in Corrective Therapy.

14 years as a professional with the American Red Cross as a Health and Safety Services Professional, serving with Eastern Operations Office covering Hudson River Valley, New York; Northern New Jersey; and Northeastern Pennsylvania; Westchester County Chapter, New York; Greater Houston Area Chapter, Texas; and National Headquarters, Washington, D.C.

Firefighter since 1970 serving with the Long Hill Fire Department (Trumbull, Connecticut); Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department (Fairfax, Virginia); and currently with the Harrisville Fire & Rescue Department as a paid-on call Firefighter/EMT.
