TOMAS GIMENEZ, Dr. Med. Vet., is a professor emeritus in Clemson University’s Animal and Veterinary Sciences Department. He holds a master of veterinary medicine degree from the National University of Mexico, a fellowship from the Royal Veterinary College in Sweden and a doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Munich, Germany. Dr. Gimenez is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, Department of Health and Human Services’ National Disaster Medical System and National Veterinary Response Team 2.
