ERIC W. MORGENTHALER is a battalion chief with the Castle Rock, CO Fire and Rescue Department. He holds a bachelor of science degree in fire protection and safety engineering technology from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in public administration (MPA) from the University of Colorado. Morgenthaler is a graduate of the Executive Fire Officer (EFO) program at the National Fire Academy and holds the designation of chief fire officer (CFO) through the Commission on Professional Credentialing/Center for Public Safety Excellence. He is an instructor in the School of Public Safety/Department of Fire Science at Kaplan University and a consultant with Blue Rock Enterprises of Castle Rock.
