Boston Fire Commissioner Resigns

Boston Fire Commissioner Roderick Fraser is stepping down.

Fraser's last day will be Jan. 6, the day the new mayor takes office, The Boston Globe reported Tuesday morning.

He reportedly handed in his resignation on Monday.

Fraser is reported to be pursuing work in the private sector.
