 Lexington Fire Department is a fully career fire/EMS department serving nearly 300,000 citizens spread over a 250 square mile area of central Kentucky with over 500 personnel. Fire Station #11 is located in the 2600 block of Harrodsburg Road in south central Lexington and houses both Engine Co. #11 and Unit 204 (District Officer). The station is one of seven fire stations in Lexington that are basically built around the same two bay, one story design and were built during the 1970's.
