    T he Pine Bush Fire Department operates out of two stations. The brand new main station was dedicated on Sunday, September 19, 2004. Pine Bush's second station is located in the Thompson Ridge section of the district. The department covers approximetely 30 square miles in the Town of Crawford in Orange County and the Town of Shawangunk in Ulster County, and protects an estimated 5,000 residents. The department's fifty members are led into action by Chief Craig Gillespie.
