Must have a valid driver's license, past a physical agility test, must be 18 years of age No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history and ability to read and write the English language.
Under general supervision, responds to fire and emergency calls to protect life and property; renders first aid and lifesaving techniques; participates in apparatus maintenance, and training activities. Operates a variety of equipment, tools, devices, and vehicles; respond to and assists the public in a wide variety of emergency calls involving illness, urgent situations and emergency medical incidents; operates rescue units; maintains proper records and documentation on all job related activities; perform other related duties as assigned by the Fire Chief.
