As a member of an emergency medical, fire suppression, and life safety team participates in a team's response to a wide range of emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, rescues, and hazardous materials incidents. Provides basic and advanced-level life support including initial patient assessment and administration of medical treatment; operates specialized equipment, apparatus, machinery, and tools; performs fire prevention activities, as well as general station duties.
