Firehouse

November 2010

Firefighters from Livonia, MI, responded to assist at a general-alarm fire in a three-story garden complex in Farmington Hills. The mid-morning fire occurred on April 28, 2010. Occupants of 17 of the 20 apartments in the building were displaced.

Dedication: This issue of Firehouse® is dedicated to Captain David Irr, 48, of the Yuma, AZ, Rural/Metro Fire Department; Firefighter John Glaser, 33, of the Shawnee, KS, Fire Department; Lieutenant David Curlin, 40, of the Pine Bluff, AR, Fire Department; Firefighter Kurt Meusel, 25, of the Scales Mound, IL, Fire Department; and Firefighter Donald A. Schneider Jr., 63, of the Belleville, WI, Fire Department, who died in the line of duty, May 2010.
