Three Jackson firefighters have been released from the hospital after their fire truck was involved with an ambulance, a taxi and another vehicle on Saturday night, according to The Clarion-Ledger.

A captain, a lieutenant, and an engineer were all injured in the collision that occurred around 8 p.m. at the corner of Beasley Road and Watkins Drive.

Ten people in all, including three AMR ambulance employees and four civilians, were transported to local hospitals following the crash.

Police are currently investigation the cause of the collision.

Jackson Police Department spokeswoman Colendula Green told the newspaper that the ambulance flipped on its side and the fire truck struck one of the civilian's vehicles during the incident.
