A DeSoto firefighter was briefly trapped after his fire truck rolled over early Tuesday morning, according to The Shreveport Times.
The unidentified firefighter was responding to a blaze on Lake Road when the crash occurred at Starks and Woodland Drive at approximately 12:30 a.m.
The firefighter reportedly lost control of the tanker truck about two miles from the fire and veered off the road before the apparatus rolled over once, KSLA-TV reported.
He was able to crawl out and suffered only minor injuries.
The fire he was responding to burned for nearly an hour destroying the home. No injuries were report.
The cause of the blaze and the fire truck crash are both currently being investigated.
