Fla. Firefighter Suffers Chest Pains Battling Fire

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- A firefighter suffered chest pains while battling a fire above a Boca Raton deli early Tuesday morning and had to be taken to a hospital. A firefighter was hospitalized for chest pains while battling a fire above a deli in Boca Raton.

A firefighter suffered chest pains while battling a fire above a Boca Raton deli early Tuesday morning and had to be taken to a hospital.

A firefighter was hospitalized for chest pains while battling a fire above a deli in Boca Raton.

The fire started shortly before 4 a.m. in the Hamptons Shopping Center off Kimberly Boulevard.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the roof of an office space above Famous Deli. There were no visible flames.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Capt. Don Delucia said the fire appeared to be accidental. He said the electrical fire started in the attic of the building.

There were no other injuries.
