Nevada Firefighter Fired in Sick Leave Scandal

LAS VEGAS -- A Clark County firefighter has been fired for misusing sick leave, county spokesman Erik Pappa said. Pappa identified the firefighter as Donald Munn, an 18-year veteran of the fire department. Another 13 firefighters are also under investigation and will learn in the next few days whether they will be terminated or otherwise punished for sick leave abuses, Pappa said.
