Kansas Fire Truck, Car Collide, Four Injured

Three high school students were injured Monday afternoon when their Mustang collided with a fire truck responding to a call.The Soldier Township fire truck was headed to a fire alarm call when it collided with the car on Northwest Topeka Boulevard, according to WIBW.com.The front seat passenger in the car was taken to a Topeka hospital with serious injuries, the station reported.All the students had to be removed from the vehicle by firefighters.

All the students had to be removed from the vehicle by firefighters.

The firefighter and three other teens in the car were taken to the hospital for treatment of lesser injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
