HOUSTON --
Firefighters rescued a man from a hole at an industrial complex on Wednesday.
Cy-Fair volunteer firefighters said the man fell off a ladder at Fluid-Power Equipment Inc. in the 6300 block of Cunningham Road in northwest Harris County about 9:40 a.m.
The man fell about 20 feet into a maintenance shaft, officials said. He was tangled in the ladder inside the hole, investigators said.
Firefighters went into the hole and pulled the man out about 10:20 a.m.
The man suffered multiple fractures, officials said.
The man was taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital. His condition has not been released.
Fluid-Power Equipment Inc. declined to comment on the incident.
