CYPRESS, Texas --
A firefighter was hurt while battling a grass fire in Northwest Harris County.
Cy-Fair and Cy-Creek firefighters fought flames along Creek Mist Drive near Riata Crossing Drive on Sunday.
Crews were able to stop the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
One of the firefighters suffered smoke inhalation, but he was expected to recover.
