A Melrose firefighter was injured yesterday after a tree fell on his engine during a snowstorm, according to WHDH-TV.
The tree fell into a home on Tremont Street, but also hit the engine. Firefighters were getting back into the apparatus when the incident occurred.
The firefighters ran for cover, but one wasn't able to get out of the way, the report said.
The firefighter was transported to the hospital, but his injuries are unknown.
