Two men have been caught on surveillance using a debit card that was stolen from a firefighter as he worked at the scene of a furniture store explosion in Wayne last week.

During an interview with Local 4, Dearborn Fire Lt. Stuart Debrowsky said while he was spending hours searching for survivors of the William C. Franks furniture store blast, someone swiped his wallet from inside his truck.

Debrowsky said more than $1,000 in withdrawals were made on his card from two locations in Westland.

Debrowsky and his wife, Kristin, got married only two weeks ago.

The couple said the financial loss only compounds the disappointment.
