A Michigan fire chief, who suffered an apparent heart attack on Christmas, died Dec. 31.
Athens Fire Chief Tom Hardy had been in a coma since the incident at the fire station, according to WWMT.com.
He was at the station after returning from a fire.
After suffering the apparent heart attack, Hardy fell and struck his head, the station reported.
