Ind. Firefighter/Medic Collapses, Dies in Station

A Sullivan firefighter/paramedic was found unresponsive in his station.
A Sullivan firefighter/paramedic was found unresponsive in his station yesterday, according to WISH-TV.

Firefighter/Paramedic Chad Null, 34, had just responded to two EMS calls when he suffered a heart attack. Fellow firefighters had left the room, and when they returned they found him on the floor.

They immediately initiated care, and he was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He is survived by his wife, two children and parents.

Information shows he was president of IAFF Local 1438.
