Missouri Ambulance Crash Hurts Four

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police said four people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries after a Kansas City Fire Department ambulance collided with a minivan in south Kansas City. Investigators said the ambulance was not on a call at the time of the crash, which happened at 139th Street and Holmes Road on Sunday afternoon. Police said two of the injured people were in the van and two were in the ambulance. Investigators did not say what they think caused the crash.
