Former Ohio FF Gets 3 Years for Arson

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- A former New Carlisle firefighter appeared in court Wednesday morning and was sentenced on two counts of arson. Brian Doak was sentenced to three years in prison. He accepted a plea deal in the case. Doak was accused of setting two fires in New Carlisle and accused a 16-year-old cadet of setting the fires. Authorities said the teen was also charged in the case. Doak pleaded guilty to two counts of arson, while other charges were dropped.
