Former Ohio FF Gets 3 Years for Arson

A former New Carlisle firefighter appeared in court Wednesday morning and was sentenced on two counts of arson.

Brian Doak was sentenced to three years in prison. He accepted a plea deal in the case.

Doak was accused of setting two fires in New Carlisle and accused a 16-year-old cadet of setting the fires. Authorities said the teen was also charged in the case.

Doak pleaded guilty to two counts of arson, while other charges were dropped.
