Pedestrian Killed by New York Fire Truck
A Long Beach fire truck struck and kill a pedestrian last night while responding to a call, according to Newsday.
The fire truck was traveling south on National Boulevard when it hit 67-year-old Fidias Amaya at approximately 10:43 p.m.
Crews attempted to revive the man but were unsuccessful.
He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
