It wasn't a lucky day for the Hoosier Lottery on Friday when one of its traveling RVs caught fire.

A lottery employee was driving the promotional RV, known as Big Fun 1, to the organization's distribution center on the city's southwest side when he said he smelled smoke.

He pulled over along Ronald Reagan Parkway, south of Interstate 70, and got out safely before the vehicle caught fire, officials said.

By the time firefighters arrived, the said the RV had been gutted by flames.

Lottery officials said the RV had just been picked up from the repair shop.
